Welcome to Year 5 at Moor Hall Primary School! Our teaching team consists of Miss Halliday in 5H, Mrs Rajput in 5R and our support staff: Mrs McConnell, Mrs Patrick and Miss Taylor. 

As part of the Year 5 journey, pupils will engage in memorable events including a trip to the Black Country Museum, Space Camp, Bikeability and our residential trip to Ingestre Hall, which encourages creativity, teamwork and independence. Throughout the year, key events including Harvest Festival, Black History Month, Culture Week, and Global Awareness Week will inspire students to act with generosity, kindness, and equity, valuing the diverse world around them. 

Through a range of exciting activities and lessons, we encourage students to be reflective, learning from their experiences and showing compassion towards others. We aim to nurture independent thinkers who approach challenges with courage and resilience. 

At Moor Hall, we strive to cultivate a sense of responsibility and community in every child, helping them grow into compassionate, respectful individuals who are ready to embrace the future with confidence.
