Arts Showcase - Tuesday 31st January 2023
I am delighted to inform you that on Tuesday 31st January 2023 we have a special visitor coming to Moor Hall.
Amy Dickson is an internationally acclaimed classical saxophonist who have previously visited us at Moor Hall. She will be performing for the children and will visit all of the classes during the day to tell them about her ‘Take a Breath’ wellbeing program and answer questions that the children have for her. Over the past few weeks we have been listening to her music and creating artwork that relates directly to musical concepts under the guidance of our Arts Lead, Mrs Grigg. I know that the children will be very excited to meet her in person.
On the day we will have Headteachers and Local Authority representatives from across the city visiting us to look at the children’s work and discuss the value of music education and wellbeing.
